Do you see NDIS clients?

Yes, I am able provide psychological services to NDIS-funded clients who are either plan-managed or self-managed.

Do you write court reports?

No, I do not provide court reports or reports for insurance claims. I am able to complete basic TAC, Workcover or NDIS reports to support extensions to funding only. If you are looking for a clinician to provide a formal assessment for a court or insurance matter, I can assist you with a referral to another psychologist. 

Do you provide formal diagnostic assessments for autism or learning disabilities?

I don’t offer formal diagnostic assessments or reports for funding purposes. My focus is on therapeutic support rather than assessment-based services.

Can I book appointments online?

New referrals must contact the clinic on 0401 776 861 or info@bvpsychology.com.au

Existing clients can book online through the Halaxy portal.

How are payments processed?

All payments are processed online via Halaxy (our healthcare platform) at the beginning of your session, using your card details which are stored securely on our platform. If you’d prefer to pay by bank transfer this can also be arranged, however payment must be received before the session. Cash payments are also accepted.

EFTPOS services are not available at this time.

Do you take walk-ins?

No, all sessions must be booked in advance by contacting the clinic on 0401 776 861 or info@bvpsychology.com.au

Please note that The Wellness Collective on Gaffney is a collective working space for independent allied health professionals. As such, there is no receptionist to assist walk-ins, and practitioners are likely to be in-session with other clients.

What is your availability for face-to-face appointments?

Availability for face-to-face appointments is currently limited to Tuesdays and Fridays, 10:30am to 6:30pm. 

Sessions will take place at The Wellness Collective on Gaffney - 298 Gaffney Street, Pascoe Vale. There is unlimited on-street parking on Gaffney St.

Upon arrival, please let yourself in and take a seat in the waiting area. 

What is your availability for online appointments?

For online appointments, Mondays and Wednesdays are also available from 10:30am to 6:30pm. However, you may also book online appointments on Tuesdays and Fridays.

For online appointments, you will be sent a Microsoft Teams link to your appointment on the day prior.

What should I do if I am feeling a bit sick, but well enough to proceed with my appointment?

If you are unwell but able to proceed with your appointment, please let me know as soon as possible and I will change your appointment to an online appointment. It is important to reduce the spread of cold and flu viruses as much as possible by staying home.

What if I am too sick to attend my appointment?

Please let me know as soon as possible - cancellation fees may be waived for special circumstances such as sudden illness or other emergencies.

Is there a maximum number of sessions for which Medicare will provide a rebate?

Yes, Medicare will provide rebates for up to 10 individual sessions with a psychologist in a calendar year. 

After the first 6 appointments, you will need to see your doctor again for a mental health plan review so that they can provide you with the additional 4 sessions.

Do you provide a crisis service?

No, I do not provide a crisis service.
